Ron de Vries sadly passed away in August 2019 but here his photographic work still lives on. Over the course of his 40+ year career he became one of Ottawa's most prominent and prolific photographers and just a small sample of his work can be found here for you to enjoy and purchase.

A camera, given to Ron at the age of 8 years, by his Dutch Opa, ensured he was on his way to becoming a 3rd generation photographer. A life long interest in design and photography has developed into a professional career as a commercial and fine art photographer. A graduate of the photography program at Fanshawe College, London, Ontario, 1980, & in Architectural Design, Algonquin College, 1975, Ron de Vries worked for several years as a darkroom technician and then as a BIO medical/forensic photographer (CHEO) before pursuing a freelance career in 1985.
